Chamber Office Join us Friday, July 17 for EffingHAM-JAM, presented by Koerner Distributor, Inc. This isn’t just a BBQ festival…it’s a full-on summer celebration of smoke, sauce, music, and community. The Hometown Throwdown amateur BBQ competition kicks off an evening of mouthwatering eats, live music, family fun, and backyard bragging rights. Rally your crew of grill masters and compete for category trophies, Top Hog honors, and the Grand Champion title — plus a cash prize for the overall winner. Live music, a kids’ foam party, cold drinks, and plenty of incredible BBQ make this one of the summer’s can’t-miss events. And here’s something we’re proud of… ALL net proceeds from the event go directly back into our community through scholarships supporting local students and adult learners pursuing their education. Cancellation Policy
*Cancellations of registrations and refunds will be issued in full if received on or before noon a week (seven weekdays) prior to the event. After noon CST on said date, no refunds will be issued. If the event is rescheduled, all registrations will be honored for the rescheduled date or may be refunded in full of a refund request**. If the event is canceled, all registration will be refunded in full. **Refund requests must be submitted in writing by email to Nicole Morrison.
