Bryan Wenthe serves as the President of CTEC (Construction Trades Education Curriculum) and has worked in the construction industry for 25 years. His early years included loading and unloading trucks in a family lumber business as well as working on specialty contracting crews.

Upon graduation from Eastern Illinois University, his Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Minor in Business Administration has been utilized in the framing component industry. He is currently a Sales and Project Manager with Probuild / Builders First Source, the nation's largest professional contractor building material dealer. Bryan is also a co-founder and partner in Fieldcrest Development, LLC, a real estate development firm.

He currently serves as the Second Vice Chairman of the Home Builders Association of East Central Illinois and is co-chairman of government affairs. As a State Director of the Home Builders Association of Illinois, he also serves on the Legislative committee.

Bryan is the fourth generation of a family that has helped support the Effingham area construction industry through advocacy and volunteerism. After spending several years between traveling between homes in Champaign and Effingham, he now makes Lake Sara his primary residence
