Is your business equipped with a disaster plan?
Preparing your business or non-profit for a disaster can help save lives, merchandise and money. That’s whythe Unit 21Extension(Effingham, Jasper, Fayette and Clay) and the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce are offering a disaster preparedness course for businesses called Ready Business: Preparing a Disaster Business Plan.
This 3.5 hour course, taught by Rick Atterberry, Chair of the National Extension
Disaster Education Network recommends the course forowners, managers and
employees of small and medium-sized businesses. Participants will leave with a rough draft disaster plan to be modified for their business.
