- Lunch with Santa at Joe's Pizza 11 am - 1 pm
- Ice Skating 12 pm - 9 pm
- The Grinch story time at 10 am, make & take craft at 1 pm and movie at 1:30 pm at the Effingham Public Library
- Snowball Drop at 2 pm on Washington Ave. between 3rd and 4th Streets. Ping pong balls, which contain prizes, will be shot into the air. After catching the snowballs, participants take them to the stores to redeem their prize
- Train rides for the kids from 2 pm - 6 pm
- Horse Drawn Carriage rides 4 pm - 6 pm
- Santa will make his grand appearance to downtown on Saturday at 4 pm and visit with kids until 7 pm
- Santa's workshop, inside the County Office Bldg:
- 2 pm - 6 pm to include various activities such as cookie decorating, reindeer food, story hour and a recycling craft
- Stang Arts face painting 2 pm - 4 pm
- Master Gardners make and take craft 4 pm until supplies run out
- The Effingham County Courthouse Museum will be open from 10 am -2 pm. FACE Orchestra and On High will perform inside the museum, on the 2nd floor, from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
- Local musicians at gazebo from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
- Hot chocolate, kettle corn, along with other food and drinks available for sale
