Parade route is along Jefferson avenue - runs from east to west, ending at Effingham High School, site of the fireworks display.
Description
Enjoy the annual Independence Day Parade! The parade will start at the intersection of 2nd & Jefferson & head west on Jefferson, turn south on Cherry street, turn west on Grove and end at Effingham High School where the Fourth of July Fireworks will go off at dusk at the Effingham High School Sports Complex. The parade starts at 5:00 p.m. Be sure to get there early for a seat to enjoy the celebration of our Nation's birthday and stick around for the fireworks!
The parade is being sponsored by the City of Effingham's Emergency Management Agency.
