Michael began his tenure at thyssenkrupp in the Maintenance Department where he performed the roles of Mechanical Technician, Controls Technician and Maintenance Planner. Developing with the restructuring of the Training / Employee Development Department, he assumed the role of Youth Apprentice Advisor and also oversees the Registered Mechatronics Apprenticeship Program.  Currently he serves on the IWIB (Illinois Workforce Innovation Board) Apprenticeship Committee working to develop Apprenticeship standards for the State of Illinois.
