Employee Appreciation Luncheon: May First Friday Luncheon

Ken Vogt, Partner with West & Company in Effingham, will be the featured speaker at the 2013 Employee Appreciation Luncheon on Friday, May 3rd at the Keller Convention Center.  This 39th annual event provides an opportunity for employers to express their appreciation to their support staff for helping make the business run smoothly and efficiently. 
 
Ken Vogt grew up local on a farm in Sigel and obtained a degree in accounting from Eastern Illinois University.  He has been with West & Company for 37 years.  He will be presenting “Respect:  The Hallmark of Success”.  The program will feature 10 characteristics we find in individuals we respect and is sure to not disappoint. 
 
The 2013 Employee of the Year will be announced at the event and is given to an outstanding full-time employee who demonstrates a high level of professionalism and commitment.  Letters of nomination from employers will be accepted through Friday, April 19th.  The nomination form can be downloaded from the Chamber’s website, www.effinghamchamber.org or see the flyer included in the mailing.
