Local business persons will have the opportunity to tour this 5th generation corn and soybean farm operated by Gary, Calvin, and Todd Wachtel.  Participants will have the opportunity to drive a tractor, learn about field equipment and grain handling and storage, hear a presentation about GPS technology, and gain knowledge about corn and soybeans.

Following the tour, Effingham County Chamber members will enjoy a pork tenderloin and rib-eye sandwich cooked by the Farm Bureau Board of Directors.
