Lake Land College offers customized training programs through the Center for Business and Industry, technical and associate degree programs and short-term training for business and industry. Apprenticeships, trades and work and learn programs are available as well as professional certifications and CPDU programs.

With the Lake Land College Effingham Technology Center and Campus in Mattoon, Lake Land serves the district with nationally acclaimed educational programs that create a highly skilled workforce. Community service and business partnerships are rooted in the College's mission to serve the region.

Lake Land College is leading the nation in its holistic approach to energy conservation and generation. Using geothermal, wind energy and solar Lake Land serves taxpayers nearly half a million dollars each year.
