DESCRIPTION:Volunteers are needed for the 35th annual Special Olympics Family Festival on Saturday\, Sept. 15 on the grounds of Lake Land College in Mattoon.\n\nConsolidated Communications is proud to host this event for Special Olympics athletes and their family members.\n\nMore than 1\,200 volunteers are needed to make this day a success.\n\nOur greatest needs is for Friend-For-A-Day volunteers who are paired with an athlete at the beginning of the day to escort them around the grounds and tent city of games\, events and activities.\n\nEverything is FREE at SOFF and all volunteers will receive a t-shirt and lunch.\n\nThis opportunity is great for any age range - beginning at 16 years old.\n\nIf you are interested in learning more\, go to www.consolidated.com/soff.
